We reported couple of days ago that the first details on the Battlefield Hardline beta and its contents will be released on Wednesday i.e. day after tomorrow.
However, that doesn’t mean Visceral games are totally holding out on information regarding the game.
The Vice President and General Manager of Visceral Games, who also happens to be the Executive Producer for Battlefield Hardline, Steve Papoutsis took to Twitter to reveal some more bits and pieces regarding the game on his official Twitter profile.
He was asked some questions by fans regarding weapons, vehicles and gadgets and luckily he was in the mood to share.
Firstly, he revealed that when Battlefield Hardline launches, it is going to bring you a total of 51 weapons and around 28 gadgets.
Secondly, he was asked about the quantity of the second best thing to weapons i.e. vehicles. Papoutsis announced that the game will come packing “27 new vehicles.”
Now does that mean all those 27 vehicles will be “new” or is it just a phrase he used since the game is new?
Battlefield Hardline was originally scheduled to be released earlier but was delayed. Recently, Papoutsis also discussed that decision saying that it was the right call:
The improvements the team has added to the game with the extra time are making Battlefield Hardline the complete first-person shooter experience we set out to deliver.
Now, the North American territories are going to get it on March 17, 2015 while the European Union release is slated for March 19, 2015.
Battlefield Hardline is being developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Are you excited about the latest entry in the Battlefield series or do you think that the Battlefield 4 fiasco is not going to let you feel that confident about it until the game actually does something to change things?
