Patch notes for the latest World of Warcraft update were shared by Blizzard Entertainment yesterday. However, there is more to the future of the game than just that.
One more expected change that the game is going to get in the coming days is related to the Garrison followers.
The community manager of World of Warcraft, Chritho took to the official forums at Battle.net and discussed the feedback that the fans had provided on the game and the changes that it should have.
It was there that he said that they had received some great pieces of advice and that many changes were going to come too the Garrisons. He even revealed one of those changes i.e. the ability to buy Garrison followers:
We have some really cool changes coming to Garrisons in the future and a lot of them are based on what you’ve shared with us in recent weeks. Also, I’ve relayed many of the ideas you’ve posted here, too. One specific change I can share is in the next patch we’re planning to add a new NPC to tier 3 Garrisons who will sell followers you might not have access to based upon which buildings and Outposts you’ve chosen. Definitely keep an eye out for that on the next PTR, test it out, and let us know what you think.
Obviously, the news has just been revealed and details are scarce on the exact nature of the feature. We also don’t know how much the followers are going to cost in World of Warcraft.
Don’t you think it will be nice to be able to get them apart from quests, buildings and the outposts you choose?
