Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires Delayed to End of February

Everything was fine in the world of Dynasty Warriors fans when we last heard of it. That was when Koei Tecmo had announced that Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires will be releasing in the west too.

The game was originally released in Japan on November 20, 2014 and was scheduled to hit the racks in European Union as well as North America at the end of January.

That has changed now, and for worse, because you will not be getting it so soon. The developers Omega Force have announced new, delayed release dates for both the regions.

You will now be getting the game in the North American region on February 24, 2015 and in the European Union on February 27, 2015.

I hope you guys don’t mind waiting for so long.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires is actually the second expansion of the original game. Dynasty Warriors games have been getting Empires editions in the past as well and like before, this one is also going to focus a bit more on the strategical and tactical elements of the game.

There will be a vast range of strate-gems and you will also get to customize some new things like flags, soldiers and horses alongside the addition of new content.

You will get to marry and have children with your wives too!

That being said, while the developers stated on their official website that Xbox One PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires get released in North America on February 24, they said that the PC version will be released on February 27.

Lastly, Omega Force have also shared some new characters and weapons that Empires is going to feature when it is unleashed. You may want to check them out here.
