Ubisoft has confirmed that the Dead Kings downloadable content pack will release for Assassin’s Creed: Unity next week.
The DLC will be available to download on January 13 on the Xbox One and PC, while PlayStation 4 users will have to wait out a day.
As promised earlier, the DLC will be free to all. This is in light of the game’s below than average launch where Ubisoft was forced to take multiple steps in damage control. One of those was turning the game’s first premium DLC into a free update for all as a token of apology.
Dead Kings features a new single-player campaign, along with side missions, activities, and co-op modes. Players will fill the shoes of Arno once again as he continues the story of Unity by searching for lost secrets of the French Kings. For this, he’ll be exploring the city of Saint-Denis and its underground network of caves.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity has received quite a few major patches to address multiple issues, and there’s still more to come. The average consensus is that the game has smoothed out a bit and is playable. If you’ve recently played the game then share with us your experiences.
