First video game chart of 2015 from UK has come up and showcases the results of the software sales that took place during the holidays.
The latest entry in the Call of Duty series, Advanced Warfare managed to take the top spot, which was very much expected. The second position has been retained by GTA V which has also been making waves since its release back in November.
At the third spot, we have FIFA 15 which is quite a famous sport in the country, whereas fourth, fifth and sixth places are taken by the three Ubisoft titles of this fall, which are Far Cry 4, Assassin’s Creed: Unity and The Crew.
The sales of Destiny lost their spark soon after the release, but during the holidays, a lot of players dived into the game giving it a number 7 spot in the ranking.
You can check out the top-10 software sold during holidays listed below:
- Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
- Grand Theft Auto V
- FIFA 15
- Far Cry 4
- Assassin’s Creed: Unity
- The Crew
- WWE 2K15
- Minecraft Xbox Edition
All of the aforementioned games were eagerly anticipated by the gaming community, and even with their issues, they sold well. Only surprise is that BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition is nowhere to be seen, even in the top 20.
Nothing major is coming out until late January, so you can expect these games to stay in the top 10 until then.
