Battlefield: Hardline has received yet another trailer that features gameplay footage and also adds a bit of its story on top, in style.
In contrast to the military theme that we’ve experienced in the past, Battlefield: Hardline jumps ships and pits cops versus robbers, a mirror version of SWAT versus Terrorists.
EA is calling it “the fastest Battlefield ever,” something which I personally feel confused about. Even with its awful launch, Battlefield 4 still had pretty awesome gameplay mechanics.
I don’t see how speeding that up in Battlefield: Hardline is a good thing. Perhaps they are trying to match themselves with Call of Duty on its arcade-ish levels.
It has been confirmed that Battlefield: Hardline will feature Levolution in the form of multiple dynamic events on every map. These will include some big changes while others will be small scale events.
Recently, developer Visceral Games confirmed the four classes that will be in the game.
The Operator Class is primarily a Gunfighter and Medic. The Mechanic, is the previously known Engineer and is able to fix up vehicles, as well as bringing some nifty gadgets on the field. We also have the Professional, a class specializing in traps and intel. Finally there’s the Enforcer, a support class.
The game is scheduled for release on March 17 in North America and March 20 in Europe for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
