After waiting for a long time, we finally got our first look at Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End at the PlayStation Experience event earlier this month. For a pre-alpha footage, the game looked amazingly detailed and there’s still a lot of time for improvement.
With PlayStation 4, Naughty Dog had a chance to enhance the look of the characters, and to show how much detail has been put into creating next-gen Nathan Drake, lead character artist Frank Tzeng has released a couple of new images.
Nathan Drake is looking stunning in both of the new pictures, which you can check out below.
As you can see, every single feature of Nathan’s face has been given equal importance to actually make him look like a breathing character. With release expected to happen in fall of 2015, you can expect the look to be improved even more.
Not much information regarding Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been revealed by the developers thus far, but the gameplay that we saw seemed to add some new elements to the franchise, including stealth, more ways to explore and different ways to complete a certain objective.
The treasure hunt this time around will force Nathan Drake to come out of retirement, and his brother that we saw in the footage will somehow be related to the story as well.
No fixed release date has been provided for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End just yet, but it is expected to come out in 2015.
