We have been hearing about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for quite a long time, but one thing that hasn’t been revealed thus far is the game’s official release date.
However, it looks like that is about to change, as Microsoft Store has revealed the release date for the game and according to them, it will come out on February 24, 2015.
The date falls on Tuesday which is the release day for most of the games in the U.S. which provides it a little bit of authenticity.
Fans expected Hideo Kojima to reveal the release date for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at this month’s game awards where he revealed the game’s online mode but sadly, it didn’t happen.
After being in development for such a long time, it wouldn’t be surprising if the leaked release date turned out to be the actual one.
However, until an official announcement is made by the developers, this news should still be considered as a rumor.
The date is not that far away and if it is indeed the right one, then I am sure we will get its confirmation sooner rather than later.
