Halo: The Master Chief Collection Matchmaking Playlist is Updated With Halo: CE

The online playlist line-up of Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been updated to include Halo: Combat Evolved, developer 343 Industries announced yesterday.

Previously, Halo: Combat Evolved’s playlist was held back due to some ongoing launch issues. However, based on community feedback, the new playlist has been added and offers 2 vs. 2 game modes:

We have updated the Matchmaking playlist lineup to include Halo: CE. As mentioned before launch, we held this playlist until additional gameplay improvements could be made to Halo: CE, and many of these improvements were included in our most recent content update. The playlist is now available. As we mentioned before launch, the Halo: CE playlist will be premiering at 2v2 based on community feedback.

Just recently, a large update was rolled out and addressed several issues related to matchmaking party, local split-screen, voice chat issues, and carnage report. You can read about the complete patch notes here.

In related Halo: The Master Chief Collection news, 343 Industries Executive Producer Josh Holmes has provided some new insight and even revealed a new multiplayer footage of Halo 5: Guardians, which is scheduled to enter beta on Dec. 29, 2014 and will last for a total of three weeks.
