Monolith Studio has released a new patch for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor which will act as a support for the upcoming Lord of the Hunt DLC, and will address some of the major issues. It is quite a hefty update and will take around 3.2 GB of your hard disk space.
Apart from adding the support for DLC, the update addresses some PC specific bugs like game crashing when the user has multiple video adapters with one compatible with DX11 and one without it. Some performance, UI and SLI problems have been fixed as well.
In the area of Udun, Power Struggles were no longer spawning for some players; this issue has been fixed. Some other fixes that have made their way to Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor with this update are listed below:
- Fixed issue caused by dying then restarting Lithariel’s Challenge, which caused most Audio to no longer play.
- Fixed issue where Invert Aim Game Setting in Photo Mode inverts the mouse’s Camera Offset.
- Runes Exploits: The player can no longer receive duplicate Epic Runes if the Captains are killed using Dispatch. Canceling a GP mission will no longer duplicate all Runes on the map.
Lord of the Hunt DLC does not have a fixed release date yet, but when it comes out, it will let you team up with Torvin once again to take down some new beasts or turn them against the enemies. Furthermore, the DLC will add new Beastmaster War Chiefs to the game.
