A new trailer has been released by Warner Bros. Interactive for the Lord of the Hunt DLC of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, which highlights the expansion’s new Warchiefs.
These new powerful beings have been unleashed by Sauron himself and ordered to go on a rampage and trample any living thing in sight. As Talion, players will have to track and hunt down these beasts before they are able to unleash an entire wave of destruction. However, turning the wills of these Warchiefs against their masters will not be an easy task to do.
Lord of the Hunt is now available for Season Pass holders to download. You can also purchase it separately from the in-game menu. It’s priced at £7.99 and is included in the Season Pass.
The DLC is themed around animal warfare and offers hours of new story content that will have you fighting against new mounted enemies, as well as new mounts to fight on.
Earlier today, Monolith Studio released a new patch for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor that was to act as a support for the Lord of the Hunt DLC. The update addresses some major bugs and issues and weighs in at a hefty 3.2 GB.
In particular, the update fixes a specific game crash that occurred when users had multiple video adapters with one compatible with DX11 and one without it. Some performance, UI and SLI problems have been fixed as well.
