After a long wait, the infamous digital collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has made its way to Android Tablets.
However, those of you living outside Canada, Australia or New Zealand will have to wait for a bit longer to play this game on your devices.
No release date has been given for the game’s release in other regions just yet, but developers assure that it will start to roll out worldwide in the coming days.
CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, Mike Morhaime has explained that the tablet version of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft was made easier due to game’s design.
Hearthstone’s intuitive interface and approachable design make it a perfect fit for tablets, and we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring players have a great experience on a wide range of Android devices.
He added that he is pretty excited about bringing the popular title to Android players, and that he is looking forward to release it on other devices as well.
We’re excited to welcome Android players to the Hearthstone community, and we’re looking forward to bringing the game to even more mobile platforms—including phones—in the future.
Android players will be able to enjoy all the features that are currently available for iPad, PC and Mac versions of the game.
To celebrate this launch, Blizzard is also giving away free card packs to anyone who purchases the game.
Players in three mentioned countries (New Zealand, Australia and Canada) can download and play the game via Google Store right now.
