Bungie’s sci-fi shooter has been available in the UK for a few months now and the game is doing pretty good for itself. However, its sales were pretty impressive early on but then things went a bit quiet.
With that said, Destiny recently was given a £10 price-cut in the region and that gave a boost to the sales once again. In UK, Destiny jumped seven places and is now at number 9.
One of the other factors behind this could be the recent release of Destiny’s expansion 1, The Dark Below.
You can check out the sales chart for last week below:
- FIFA 15
- Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
- Grand Theft Auto 5
- Far Cry 4
- Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
- Just Dance 2015
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition
- Minecraft: PlayStation Edition
- Assassin’s Creed: Unity
While Destiny is at number 9 after a few months, Fifa 15 tops the chart even though the game came-out back in September. Seems like EA is raking in big numbers from the sales.
It is to be noted here that, these sales do not include digital purchases. So, Destiny might have sold even more copies but there is no way for us to know that.
As I said, The Dark Below Expansion is now available for all platforms. The additional content is a part of the expansion pass but can also be purchased separately.
