Microsoft announced its new operating system Windows 10 back in September, and now Phil Spencer in a tweet has revealed that plans for gaming on the new OS will be discussed next month.
He made this revelation in a tweet, where he responded to a fan with the following.
@RpLayy I'll be focusing more on what we are doing on Win10 in January, it's time for us to talk about gaming on Windows.
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) December 12, 2014
The consumer event to discuss Windows 10 is scheduled to take place on January 21, 2015, and gaming will be one of the agendas that will be discussed.
Upon the announcement of Windows 10, Microsoft revealed that it will serve as one platform to all the company’s products, but no specifics were provided.
However, come Januay 21 we will be hearing more about the new features of Windows 10 and we may see Xbox One somehow getting integrated with the OS as well.
Spencer in the past has admitted that gaming on Windows is extremely critical for Microsoft’s success and it cannot be left behind.
This is all we have to share at this moment, but we will keep you updated as Microsoft reveals more.
