Well, that didn’t take too long to pop up. It seems Capcom is ever ready to show you as much of Street Fighter V as resources would allow them. The first live broadcast of a match from the game is coming your way in a matter of four days!
For those of you who don’t know, the Capcom Cup 2014 is being held on December 13 at the Warfield Theater in downtown San Francisco.
It has now been announced that the Capcom Cup 2014 won’t just be about the fighter that Street Fighter has, taking on each other for $50,000 prize money. It will also bring you the first ever Street Fighter V live match!
The official Twitter profile of the series tweeted couple of hours ago announcing that you can watch it at the theater or through stream. For the latter, you will have to be tuned into the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel. The event is going to be held between 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM PST.

However, that is not all! Yoshinori Ono was recently interviewed by Famistsu (thanks EventHubs for the translation) where he revealed that they originally planned to share the Chun Li vs. Ryu fight on the Capcom Cup 2014 but plans were changed after the leak.
He also revealed that in their new plans, they are all set to share another new ‘secret detail’ about the Street Fighter V during the Capcom Cup 2014.
So that is one more reason for us to tune into that Twitch stream isn’t it?
Lastly, if you are in the vicinity and are more interested in getting the actual action, the tickets for the tournament are currently being sold by EventBrite.
