Sega has released a new gameplay video for the upcoming Yakuza Zero. The gameplay is from the World View chapter of the game and shows Sega’s interpretation of 1988’s Kamurocho and Soutenbori.
The footage in question is from the PS4 version of the game and hopefully your Japanese is better than mine, because I wasn’t able to understand a single word by the developers.
From what I’ve seen, the game looks pretty impressive in terms of visuals and features; it is an open world with tons of stuff to do. The attention of detail helps bring 1988 to life. We are looking forward to know more about the game (in English hopefully).
Yakuza Zero is going to be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 next year in March.
Sega is yet to reveal if the game will be released in the west or not. Since Yakuza 5 was recently revealed to be launched in the west as well, chances are Yakuza Zero might also be localized for the western market.
