DICE is not done with Battlefield 4 and has confirmed that the recent Final Stand DLC will not be the last to hit the game.
“With Battlefield 4 Final Stand released, we hope and believe that you will enjoy it together with the rest of the game for a long time,” said community manager Jonas Elfving. “However, there is one thing we want to assure you: there is more content coming for Battlefield 4.”
Elfving added that details about this new content, such as release date, weaponry, gadgets, environments, pricing, will be shared “in the near future”.
“We understand that this may lead to even more questions about our plans, but rest assured that we’ll get back to you on the future of Battlefield 4 when the time is right.”
There was no confirmation whether this will be offered to Premium members for free but I don’t see how DICE would plan on making their Premium subscribers unhappy at this point.
The past DLC map packs for Battlefield 4 have shared specific environment themes, such as Jungle terrains, Snow capped mountains, Water logged destinations and sandy Deserts.
Any guesses as to what DICE is cooking up with this new content pack? With the recent shift to futuristic warfare, players could possibly get a map pack revolving around just that. Here’s to driving an alien hovercraft.
