According to a listing posted on WalMart, which has now been removed, it seems that we will be getting yet another entry in the Paper Mario series, and this time it will come to Wii U.
This brings us to the so-called fake tweet that went out a couple of days ago by Nintendo of America, where they teased Paper Mario 5, only to remove it just after a few hours. You can check out the images of the deleted tweet and WalMart listing below:
Looking at the listing and the tweet, we can safely assume that we will be getting the announcement of Paper Mario 5 in near future. With The Game Awards scheduled to take place later today and Nintendo Direct also happening in December, the announcement might be coming sooner rather than later.
Nintendo had a good 2014 with a lot of fan favorite titles getting released, and the next year is looking great as well with titles like Legend of Zelda, Splatoon and more coming players’ way.
Paper Mario 5 will certainly help Nintendo in increasing the sales of Wii U console even more, as there’s a large community of players who would love to see the new entry in the franchise.
What is your take on the listing and the tweet? Would you like to see the new entry get announced this month?
