People became extremely frustrated when they started to get error code 104-1852 after downloading the first DLC pack for Mario Kart 8 on Wii U.
Soon after the reports of error hit the web, Nintendo announced that it will release a fix for the problem in the coming weeks.
Now, in less than two weeks, Nintendo has released a new update 5.3.1 U, which is available to download in all regions.
The update fixes the error code 104-1852, and brings some stability changes to the console. You can check out the patch notes given below:

Resolved an issue that resulted in some users receiving error code 104-1852 while uploading a Mario Kart 8 highlight reel to YouTube.
Improvements to system stability and usability:
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.
The update in European regions is available under the name 5.3.1 E, while Japanese name is 5.3.1 J.
Previous update 5.3.0 added amiibo compatibility to the console and now, amiibo figurines can be used to unlock new stuff in some of the popular Nintendo games.
It has also been reported that Nintendo is planning to bring amiibo compatibility to some of the third party titles as well.
