At long last, Moon Game Studios has unveiled the release window for Ori and the Blind Forest, but it isn’t what you had in mind, the game has been delayed and will now arrive in the first quarter of 2015.
The game was expected to release in Q4 2014 but developers had to delay it because it needs more polishing.
While we’re extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we’ll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to – what we hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience.
The release window provided is only for the PC and Xbox One version of the game. Developers assure that Xbox 360 version is still in development but it will come out at a later date.
Ori and the Blind Forest has been on the wish list of almost every gamer since its first reveal, and the anticipation was doubled when we got our first look at the game’s prologue.
Not only the game has some stunning visuals, but the story looks equally interesting as well.
Another feature that has been getting appreciation is its music which changes according to the situations that you’re in, giving a movie like experience.
Although delay is disappointing, but with so many expectations riding on Ori and The Blind Forest, it has to be in its best possible shape.
