Bungie’s sci-fi shooter, Destiny is among the biggest and most talked about games of 2014. If you haven’t played the game and can’t make up your mind to grab a copy or not, then head down to your console’s digital store and download a free trial version of Destiny.
Trial is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. You’ll be able to create your own unique Guardian, try out a bunch of single player missions and participate in some social and co-op activities.
So how much space will it take on your HDD? On both PS4 and Xbox One, it will take 20 GB of disk space. While on last-gen consoles, you’ll need to have a minimum of 6GB HDD space available.
Keep in mind that, current-gen console players won’t need any further downloads afterwards, if you decide to purchase the game. However, on last-gen, players will have to download a copy of Destiny or purchase a retail version.
According to Bungie:
“For those on current-gen platforms, the Destiny trial can instantaneously upgraded to the full game via their console’s digital storefront — no further download required. Those playing on last-gen consoles, however, will need to purchase a copy of Destiny digitally or through retail, independent of the demo.”
Also, all of your data will be transferred to the game if you remain in the same console familly. Which means you won’t be able to transfer your data from Xbox 360 to PS4 or PS3.
