Korean video game rating board has listed Samurai Shodown VI, The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match and The King of Fighters XI on their website, with Sony Korea as the publisher.
Not much detail is available at this point of time to come up to with a certain conclusion, but the chances are that all three of these titles will make their way to PlayStation 3, PS Vita and PlayStation 4.
SNK Playmore has previously confirmed that a port of Metal Slug 3 is in works and will arrive on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.
All the listed titles feature some incredible gameplay and would be appreciated by the players on the new platforms.
There is no questioning the popularity of The King of Fighter series, which became an instant hit in the arcades due to its team based fighting gameplay.
On the other hand, Samurai Shodown VI only allows up to 2 players to compete simultaneously, but it was also a big hit among the fighting genre fans.
There isn’t any official confirmation of the ports by either Sony or SNK at this moment, but the possibilities are there and we very well may get ourselves some classic PS2 titles.
