There’s a Season Pass for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. It costs €14.99 and comes with six additions of downloadable content (DLC), which are also available separately for €2.99 each.
Three of the six DLC packs are available now. It features materials from the movies and comic franchises across the years.
In the Dark Knight add-on, players get to relive the chase scene with Harvey Dent’s police escort. It’s possible to play as the Dark Knight, Commissioner Gordon, but also as The Joker on the slaughter truck.
The Dark Knight Rises will be part of this DLC as well. Bane and Catwoman from the third film offer more playable characters.
In the Man of Steel add-on, Superman’s father, Jor-El, tries to send Kal-El to Earth with the help of wife Lara. Krypton is the playing ground of this DLC and features an encounter with Zod.
For the Batman 75th add-on, several representations of characters are used from across the year. This includes the version first seen in Detective Comics #27.
Later DLC includes the Arrow add-on. Of course, this includes Green Arrow, as voiced by Stephen Amell from the TV show. It’s possible to explore Starling City in the Arrow DLC. Diggle, Felicity Smoak, Huntress, Slade Wilson and Black Canary will be there as well.
Yet announced DLC will contain more vehicles and levels.
Why exactly a Lego game needs a Season Pass is a mystery to us, but it looks like Warner Bros keeps the price mellow, at least. The Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Season Pass is available now for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is also out on PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
