A new update has been released today for Destiny, which brings the game to version 1.0.3 and adds plenty of fan-requested features.
A new voice social feature has been added that enables users to access channels for Team Chat and talk with each other during Strikes and other team-based matches.
Some minor issues with classes have been fixed. The camera shake when being hit with explosives has been reduced. The Clown Cartridge perk has been replaced with other perks in shotgun upgrade trees.
Bungie has also doubled the number of bounty slots from five ten, and given players the ability to preview emblems and armor shaders. Iron Banner: Fireteam leaders now require to be at least level 20 and players will need to be within three levels of opponents to be competitive.
Other updates include various fixes and tweaks to various game elements. The developer also noted that the next Iron Banner event will be going live soon.
The patch is reported to weigh in at 2.44 GB and is the first in a series of updates that will lead to the release of Destiny’s first expansion pack, The Dark Below, on December 9.
