PS Now has received mixed reactions since its open beta back in July. The biggest concern was lag but it seems as though Sony has managed to handle it well enough to ensure a decent experience.
Then comes the library of games, PS Now has some pretty good games already available for streaming and Sony is planning to include some of the highly popular EA tiles to its list.
According to a post on PS blog by Peter Jamshidi, Director of Marketing PS Now, Sony will be adding Mass Effect 2, Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space 3 and more to PS Now.
“I’m pleased to announce a partnership with EA to bring their games to PlayStation Now, including some of their biggest hits like Mass Effect 2, Mirror’s Edge, and Dead Space 3.”
You can check out the full list of titles to be added below:
- Mirror’s Edge
- Mass Effect 2
- Dead Space 3
- NBA Jam On Fire Edition
- Bejeweled 3
You will be able to stream these titles starting December 2nd. As far as the price goes, each of these games can be rented for around $7 a week.
On Amazon, these titles are available for $15-24, so $7 for a game only to rent it for a week doesn’t seem like a tempting deal. It will be great if Sony can come up with a monthly subscription plan if they want to attract more users.
What do you think? Can PS Now be a better service with a subscription model?
