As revealed earlier this week, Bungie is planning to bring a ton of new stuff to Destiny. To make that happen, the game will be taken offline tomorrow for several hours to get it ready for the upcoming updates and the first DLC “The Dark Below.”
Bungie announced this service outage on its official website:
On Thursday, November 13th, we’ll be taking Destiny offline for several hours. This totally planned service outage will enable us to prepare for the arrival of a series of updates planned for the next few weeks. During this time, you’ll be unable to play Destiny.
Developers also assured the fans that this process will not affect their gameplay experience in any way. This service outage will begin tomorrow at 8AM Pacific Time and will stay on until shortly after noon.
Destiny has been criticized since its release due to lack of content available but now, developers are working hard to bring new stuff for the players to do and earn from.
With the upcoming updates you will receive new shaders for your gear, get to preview items before purchasing, some fixes, new economies and so much more. Also, the upcoming Dark Below DLC will contain free content for everyone.
Activision has already confirmed that work on the full fledge sequel of Destiny has already begun.
