One of the biggest features of Borderlands 2 “Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode” was absent from the recent entry Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and as was expected, it didn’t sit well with a lot of players.
However, Gearbox has decided to bring it to the game in near future, and it will be free.
Free updates to the game are currently in the works, including a highly requested Ultimate Vault Hunter playthrough mode that allows players to go through the game a third time as well as reset campaign progress at any time.
Furthermore, Handsome Jack Doppelganger character DLC is out now, which will let you play as one of the clones of the infamous villain.
If you own the season pass costing 29.99 USD, then you will get Handsome Jack for free. However, non-season pass holders will have to pay $9.99 for the new character.
Gearbox promised that there will be four DLCs coming to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and they will all be available at $9.99 each, but purchasing the season pass will save you 10 bucks.
If you are looking forward to spending a lot of time in the game, then you should go for the season pass.
Currently, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is only available on last-gen consoles and PC, but rumors are that it will eventually come out on current-gen as well.
