WWE 2K15 is already available on PS3 and Xbox 360, and the game is nearing its release on current-gen hardware as well. Excitement is high to jump into more refined WWE experience thanks to the power of these new consoles.
However, fans should note that even though the game is visually impressive and contains some amazing new features, WWE 2K15 will be saying good-bye to some of the old ones in this new iteration.
The news was revealed by Visual Concepts art director Lynell Jinks who stated that some of the long-time features wouldn’t be a part of the game, when it is released on PS4 and Xbox One.
Features such as the option to create your own arena, championships, Divas and narratives via the story designer won’t be seen in WWE 2K15.
According to Lynell Jinks:
“This decision was extremely difficult, but a necessary one, in order to deliver a more focused and polished game,” Jinks writes. “The primary reason we did not announce these changes earlier is due to the team working until the last minute to retain as many features as possible.”
While that is unfortunate, but fan-requested features are being added such as the Superstar Studio. This will let players keep their superstars updated in terms of their entrance and in-game attire to match the ones they use in the WWE.
Players of WWE 2K15 are free to upload anything they like but keep in mind that 2K has a system in place in order to ban inappropriate content.
The company has also detailed the uploading process, which you can see here.
