Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Releases Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack DLC

Some downloadable content (DLC) for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is coming today on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It’s called the Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack and does exactly what the titles says it does, which is pretty convenient.

So, the DLC allows for a new playable character, which is a fake version of the evil CEO of the Borderlands universe. It comes with copies of the doppelganger that help to confuse enemies during battles.

Another move sort-of Jack can do is receive buffs for every piece of cash that’s picked up, because they’re an exec and that’s what they care about. It’s topical.

Doppelganger Jack can also shoot twin-lasers from wrist guns. Like all characters in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, there are several skins available to give Jack some extra flair.

The Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack DLC is part of the game’s Season Pass, though it should also be available for purchase separately.

Other playable characters in the game include fan-favorite Claptrap. We imagine they’re still a popular choice now.

An update is sent out for all platforms of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to complement the DLC. Additionally, the patch serves to support and other upcoming content.

A variety of quests should become error-free with the update. There’s also a fix for the I Can Do This Alone challenge, as well as a solution for Jack glitching in the Lost Legion Invasion mission.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is the third installment in the series. It released to dwindling interest last month, acquiring a 76 Metacritic score, which is below the 80+ marks of previous iterations.
