Sledgehammer Games has acknowledged a spawn glitch that has been reported by players to be plaguing the Hardpoint multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, Studio Head of Development & Co-founder Michael Condrey confirmed that the team is currently working on a fix, and that it should roll out soon.
He though didn’t mention an expected time-frame. The glitch causes players to be stuck in the game’s spectator mode after being killed in some instances.
To make matters even worse, they are unable to cycle through the players and are basically frozen in the state and unable to spawn back. To do so they have to quit the server and join again.
Sledgehammer Games is currently also working on many other improvements to the game, including connectivity issues that has also been reported by numerous players as an annoying aspect of playing online.
Other items include work on Prestige reset issues, adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement, fix for weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances and fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging.
Furthermore, adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons, fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios, and the implementation of being able to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match are also being worked on.
