Telltale has revealed that the upcoming Game of Thrones will feature five playable characters from the same family.
The news was shared by senior vice president of publishing, Steve Allison in an interview. Although the interview was about The Walking Dead season two being released recently on consoles but that didn’t stop Allison from sharing some tidbits about the game with us.
“In Game of Thrones we’re taking that multi-protagonist design even further with five playable characters from the same family whose choices affect everyone in the family, and that adds a whole new layer to things that we’re really excited about.”
Allison also stated that their “story telling toolkits” will keep evolving based on the requirements of each franchise they work on.
Although he did reveal the news about 5 characters but he didn’t mention which family they will be from but as the game will be out by the end of this year, it won’t be long before we find out.
Game of Thrones will be a point and click style game and is planned as an episodic release. Every choice or decision the players make will have an impact on the outcomes of future episodes.
Game of Thrones will release on home consoles, Microsoft Windows PC and Mac.
