PlayStation 4 has been experiencing a lot of problems since the release of firmware 2.0 update including PSN sign-in problems and rest mode issue. Due to these problems occurring on the console, 2K has decided to delay the big alpha of Evolve on PS4.
2K on Evolve’s official website wrote:
Following the recent PS4 2.00 firmware update, we are experiencing difficulties with the Evolve Big Alpha on PlayStation 4. As a result, the test on PlayStation 4 is postponed. PlayStation and 2K are working together on a resolution.
The news must be disappointing for the fans who were looking to try out the upcoming 4v1 title but hopefully, Sony will come up with a solution sooner rather than later.
On the other hand, PC and Xbox One players are enjoying the game on their respective platforms but they are encountering some issues, which will be fixed before the game’s beta which is scheduled to take place in January.
In a recent Facebook post, a rep for Turtle Rock Studios stated that the work on fixing the PS4 issues is going on.
2K, Turtle Rock Studios, and PlayStation continue to work hard to resolve the difficulties affecting the Evolve Big Alpha on PlayStation 4.
The big alpha for Evolve will come to an end tomorrow, so if you have an invite, then do try it out and share your gameplay impressions with us in the comments below!
