Steam’s Halloween Sale for this year has just gone live and will last until Monday, November 3, 10:00 AM PST.
Like always, the sale offers a vast array of heavily discounted titles for the picking. There are 37 different games and bundles in total that have been featured in the sale, with some being dragged down by as much as 85 percent.
Some of the more noticeable offerings include Fallout 3: Game of the year Edition ($3.39), Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition ($37.49), Slender: The Arrival ($4.99), Darksiders Franchise Pack ($8.99), Spore Complete Pack ($12.49), Murdered: Soul Suspect ($12.49), Dead Space Pack ($8.74), The Binding Of Isaac Collection ($1.32), F.E.A.R. Collection ($13.74), and The Evil Within Season Pass ($9.99).
Personally I found the sale a bit disappointing but only because none of the games in my wishlist were featured in the sale. I was hoping to at least see Divinity: Original Sin and Defense Grid 2.
There was also the off chance of Steam surprising me by including either Far Cry 4 or Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Granted that they are recent releases, but after seeing Dead Rising 3 being discounted at an attractive pre-order price, I had hoped for a similar surprise with other titles.
