PlayStation 4 has been encountering several issues since the release of highly anticipated firmware 2.0 update, and one of the biggest problems that people are facing is PS4 powering back on automatically from the Rest Mode.
However, worry no more as some user on Reddit has managed to find a workaround for this problem and you can try it out as well.
Just follow the given steps and your console will start going into rest mode just like before. Go to [Settings] > [Power Save Settings] > [Set Functions Available in Rest Mode] > [Supply Power to USB Ports] > [Always]
A lot of people have tried out this workaround, and it has fixed the issue for them. Until an official fix is released by Sony, you will have to settle with the available solution.
Apart from the Rest Mode issue, some PS4 users have reported that they have been unable to sign-in to their PSN account after the update. Sony is currently working on a fix and hopefully, players will be able to go online sooner rather than later.
Sony in a statement to GameSpot assured users that they are well aware of the problems that 2.0 firmware update has brought upon them and they will fix them pretty soon.
