The upcoming entry in the Yakuza franchise called Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath has received a new trailer, which highlights the game’s story.
The video is almost 15 minutes long as it showcases some old and new gameplay footage, game’s characters and more. I won’t be mentioning what exactly the video holds as I would rather suggest that you watch it for yourself.
In the game, you will be put in the shoes of young Kazuma Kiryu and Majima Goro in the year 1988, as you will witness the rise of both of the characters.
The story of Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath relates to the events that went down in the first entry of the series, which means that you can expect to see some returning characters as well.
The Japanese fans of the series will not have to wait for too long to get their hands on this game, as it is going to release on March 12 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
However, there is no word on when or if we will be seeing this game making its way to the west. Previous title to release outside of Japan was Yakuza: Dead Souls, since then Yakuza 5 and Yakuza: Ishin have been released but none of them made it out of the country.
However, nothing has been confirmed yet and we very well may get our hands on Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath in the coming months.
