A new Xbox One bundle has appeared on the UK division of online retailer Amazon which bundles the console together with the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Since we’ve not heard any official announcement from Microsoft, this bundle is most probably unofficial and will not have the company’s backing. However, seeing that it’s priced at an attractive £349.99, I doubt anyone would complain of it being unofficial.
Additionally, the bundle will come with a physical boxed copy of the game, unlike previous bundles that had download codes instead. That means players won’t have to wait around for the game to finish downloading and can simply pop in the disc and start playing.
Remember though that the game comes with a 20 GB day one patch which is mandatory. That’s still better than having to download over 50 GB worth of content.
The Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle is currently only available on Amazon UK and its US sister division is still devoid of any such listing. We’ll know in time if a similar bundle appears on the US site or not.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will release for Xbox One on November 11. It includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4, with the older titles overhauled to match up to current standards.
In addition, Halo 2 Anniversary includes six all-new maps built from the ground up for Xbox One.
