Ubisoft has confirmed that a closed beta for The Crew will commence on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from November 6 to 10.
To be guaranteed access to the beta, all players have to do is pre-order the game. Otherwise you can put yourself on a waiting list by registering on the game’s official website. I would suggest the former approach.
The closed beta will give players access to two of the five regions available in the game: the Midwest and East Coast. Here they will be free to explore and complete all sorts of challenges.
The PvP lobbies will also be present and players will be given the freedom to customize their cars with only two of the five spec classes: Street and Dirt. Note that any progression made during the beta will not be carried forward to the final game.
The beta was supposed to take place earlier this month but was delayed at the last moment due to numerous users being unable to validate their beta keys. Back then Ubisoft said that the issue was currently being looked at by the “relevant teams” who are “actively working with Sony America” on a solution.
The Crew will release worldwide on December 2 for the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
