Battlefield: Hardline was supposed to release in October this year, but the developers delayed it because they needed more time to polish the game.
Today, EA has revealed the new release date for the game and it will now launch on March 17, 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
Accompanying the release date announcement is a new trailer, which showcases the car and bike chases of the game. You can check it out above.
In the multiplayer of Battlefield: Hardline, you will either be playing as robbers who have to escape the police by any means necessary or you will be playing as cops, as you chase down the robbers.
The single player story of the game is described as:
In a crime drama filled single player story, Miami is embroiled in a drug war and officer Nick Mendoza has just made detective. Alongside his partner, veteran detective Khai Minh Dao, he follows the drug supply chain from the streets to the source. In a series of increasingly off-the-books cases the two detectives come to realize that power and corruption can affect both sides of the law.
Apart from revealing the release date for Battlefield: Hardline, EA confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront will release in holidays of 2015, whereas Battlefield 5 will release in the last quarter of 2016.
