As you know, WWE 2K15 is upon us and as of today, players can purchase the game on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. However, if you want to experience the action on PS4 or Xbox One, you will have to wait till the game comes out next month.
So, since the latest installment in the series is now available in the market, 2K is going take down WWE 2K13 servers permanently.
Long term fans of the series will know that this is a common practice, and whenever a new iteration of the game is released, servers of the game from two years ago are taken offline.
Same will be the case with WWE 2K14 when WWE 2K16 eventually hits the shelves.
Trophy hunters should know that in order to grab the Platinum Trophy in WWE 2K13, players are tasked to obtain all other trophies and that includes online trophies as well, so by now if you haven’t done it all then you’re out of luck.
As I said same goes for last year’s iteration, so that gives us around one year to earn those sweat trophies in the game.
WWE 2K15’s next-gen version was scheduled to launch alongside its PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts but now after a minor delay, the game will be released on November 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
WWE 2K15 is the first installment in the series to be released on next gen-consoles so obviously developers wouldn’t want to make a bad first impression.
Speaking about the delay Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas stated that the additional development time will enable them to meet consumer expectations.
Hopefully it will, the game looks pretty impressive and I can’t wait to try it out. What about you? Let us know in the comments below!
