Details of the season pass of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare were shared today by Activision, along with a trailer that shows some of the content in action.
A bit pricey at $50, the game’s season pass will give access to four DLC packs: Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy and Reckoning. Each pack will be priced at $15 upon release and hence purchasing the season pass will save you $10.
Owners will receive instant access to an additional multiplayer map called Atlas Gorge that is featured in the trailer and is a re-imagined version of ‘Pipeline’ from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. However, this one takes place at a dam rather than a railway yard. Atlas Gorge is also included in both of the special editions of the game.
Finally, the pass will include early access to bonus DLC weapons which currently have not been revealed by Activision.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is scheduled for release on November 4 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
The game’s first DLC pack Havoc will launch in January and arrive first on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms as part of an exclusivity deal. The DLC will then arrive on the rest of the platforms a month later, which usually has been the program with the past Call of Duty titles.
