Masaaki Yamagiwa, the producer on the PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne, has revealed that the upcoming title will probably run at 30 frames per second because it’s best for the action games.
He made this revelation during an interview with PlayStation Life Style, where he stated:
Haven’t made an official announcement yet but they (From Software) will probably go for 30fps since that’s what they found to be the best fps (frames-per-second) to play action games. They weren’t targeting 60fps because it’s not first-person shooting, it’s an action game.
Some people might be disappointed due to 30fps setting because they expect the games to launch at 60fps, which was one of the prime purposes of new gen consoles. Are you one of those people?
Bloodborne is currently under development at From Software, the studio which is known for its work on Dark Souls series, but with this upcoming PS4 exclusive, developers have changed the pace of combat a little bit and given players some new weapons.
The difficulty of the game will not be as high as Dark Souls but still, it will provide a challenging experience to the players.
Bloodborne is set to launch on 6th of February, exclusively for PS4.
Are you satisfied with 30fps?
