Since I heard the news of Halo: The Masterchief Collection getting a 20GB day-one patch on Xbox One, nothing seems massive.
Still, if we don’t compare Lords of the Fallen’s 5GB day-one patch to Halo, it’s pretty huge for people like me who have a slow internet connection.
The news of this patch was discovered by a Reddit user who goes by the name of The BlueAngel. The user shared an image as well in order to prove that he/she isn’t kidding around.
The image is from this user’s PS4 download list and shows the hefty 5GB patch being downloaded.
Published by Bandai Namco and developed by CI Games, Lords of The Fallen is slated for an October 28 release on PS4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows PC.
Just by looking at gameplay videos of Lords of the Fallen, you can see the similarities it has with Dark Souls and
players have been concerned regarding the game’s pace and how will it differentiate itself from Dark Souls.
All of these concerns were addressed by executive producer Tomasz Gop during a 16 minute gameplay video and Gop is hoping that it will give you a new perspective on the game.
