Oddworld Inhabitants has revealed that its famous PlayStation 4 title Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will be making its way to PC “as soon as possible”
Developer stated that the PC version of the game was showcased in Manchester earlier this month in its fully playable state, but to make sure that there are no problems, the development team will take some more time before making it publicly available.
We showcased the PC version of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty to the public in Manchester, UK, in October. To the surprise of many players, it was the full game, playable all the way through. But we’re not quite finished with ensuring the game is fully optimized for all hardware, and have at least a couple of months left before release.
Speaking of the PS3 and PS Vita release of the game, developers said that they are keen to run the game on 720p on PS3 and at the native resolution on PS Vita but to make that happen, they need more time.
Finally, they assured that the Xbox One and Wii U will also be getting Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, but that is not going to happen for quite some time.
It seems that the next stop for the developers is PC, then the game will release on Sony’s remaining platforms and in the end, it will arrive on Xbox One and Wii U.
We will see if the game manages to get the same amount of attention, it received on PS4 when it is finally released.
