As Ubisoft has mentioned plenty of times, they want to reinvent Assassin’s Creed through Unity with improved gameplay and combat overhaul. Somehow, they forgot to mention that in order to run Assassin’s Creed Unity your PC might need an overhaul of its own.
While Ubisoft still hasn’t shared the official system requirements with us, their Korean partner’s website has a page leaked revealing the minimum and recommended specs needed to run the game’s PC version.
If the leaked page is to be believed, you will need a GPU on par with Nvidia GTX 680 and AMD Radeon HD 7970, 6GB RAM with at least an Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-8385 @ 4.0 GHz to run the game on minimum settings.
On the other hand, if you are planning to get the best possible experience out of your time with Assassin’s Creed Unity, then you will need some hefty hardware to do so.
According to the recommended specs, an Intel Core i7-3770 3.7 GHz or AMD FX-8583 running at 4.0 GHz with 8GB system memory is required. Visually, to bring the French Revolution to life on your PC monitor, your gaming rig should have NVIDIA GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X with 3GB of VRAM.
Readers should note that Unity will only support 64 bit Windows 7, 8/8.1. You can see the full list of recommended specs below.
