With October coming to an end, it’s time to see what Sony’s Instant Games Collection program has to offer its player-base for November.
Recalling an earlier announcement from September, we only know that ‘The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth’ will be offered by Sony as a free title for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.
The title has been around for quite a while and has seen to a lot of sales. So it’s quite likely that a majority of the player-base will already have had played through the title, making the offering a bit stale.
The news was also confirmed by the developer, Tyrone Rodriguez through the official PlayStation Blog.
Responding to a fan’s question about the title, he said: “This is the PS+ November game for North America and Europe, so yes.” The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements.
It has a sheer difficulty level, making most of the levels challenging and taxing. Rebirth is the “re-engineered edition of The Binding of Isaac” and includes new game material, modes, characters and areas, as well as other adjustments customized for this release.
Apart from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, we’re still in the dark about the rest of the games. We expect Sony to do an official announcement this weekend.
Sit tight until then.
