In a newly released trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition, BioWare shows us the many different approaches possible in setting up the game’s protagonist.
Later in the video, we also get to see three of the Hero’s nine companions that will be available in the game. Each comes with his/her own personality, a trait which the developer has greatly focused on this time.
In contrast to what we find in the standard role-playing game, characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition will have strong personalities where they will even behave, converse and act accordingly.
Earlier this week, the developers were asked about what resolution support can be expected on the current-gen consoles.
Producer Aaryn Flynn gave a vague answer, stating that they have “maximized the current potential of each platform” to give the best possible experience on each platform.
That translates to the PlayStation 4 possibly achieving native 1080p support and the Xbox One ending with 900p at best. However, there’s still some time before release and things might turn around.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled for release on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
It’s the third installment in the franchise, following a spectacular first release but an insanely boring and forgetful second title. BioWare is looking to turn things around with Inquisition and we’ll know soon if they are successful.
