The latest information reveal for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare comes from the recent edition of Newsweek, in which it was confirmed that the latest installment will bring back the popular Infected and Gun game modes for the multiplayer.
Infected was first introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as a private match game mode before being released to the online community public playlist.
It rocketed in popularity straight away and since then has become of a norm where its inclusion in an installment is appreciated by the fans.
In the mode one random player is spawned as the ‘Infected’ while the other ‘Survivors’ have to either kill him or survive long enough to win the round.
The mode utilizes aspects of both stealth and force. The infected on the other hand is able to further infect others and have them join the hunt.
The Gun Game mode on the other hand arrived first on Call of Duty: Black Ops. Players start off the round with the same weapons which usually are low-tier. As they get more kills, they earn more weapons instantly. It’s fast paced and pretty brutal.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is currently being developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
The first person shooter is going to get a Day Zero Edition on November 3 while the game will get an international release on November 4. The Japanese markets are going to get it a little late on November 13.
