Narrative director on Far Cry 4, Mark Thompson stated during an interview that the upcoming entry in the series will take about 15 to 60 hours to complete.
Far Cry 3 was also a very long game but reaching even 50 hours was a huge challenge as the players ran out of things to do in 40 or so hours, which means that the sequel will have more stuff for the players to do, that will keep them busy for a very long time.
So far, we know that the game will include campaign, Shagri-La missions, hideouts, animals to hunt, multiplayer and maybe there will be more to do once the game launches later this year.
In the same interview, Thompson revealed that every area in Kyrat is under control of Pagan Min but he cannot be everywhere, which is why he has appointed Lieutenants, who keeps his operations running.
Each area will have its own specific villains that players will eventually encounter throughout the course of the campaign.
The wait for Far Cry 4 is almost over as the game is going to see the light of day on November 18 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
