This is by far the most interesting trailer I have seen since a long time; primary reason being how Ubisoft is differentiating Far Cry 4 from other games using things we seldom find in other games.
Setting the game in a place like Himalayas alone was a great choice, but now that they are opening up more about the content of the game I have realized that that was just a start.
For instance this trailer, with it slightly creepy background music, goes on to show you the wildest sides of Far Cry 4. You see tigers lying around dead, you see tigers jumping humans straight for their throats; and then you see dinner tables decorated with monkey heads. Yes, three of them!
There is more, Ubisoft is staying true to their ‘we want it all’ approach by including all weird ideas. I saw an almost naked pundit jump into a stream for some religious prayer too.
With all that being said, it is a treat to watch this trailer if you know how Far Cry games can give you all that when you are in the game.
Far Cry 4 is being developed for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One; you will get it in Europe and United States on November 18 but Australian fans will have to wait until November 20.
