CD Projekt RED has renewed its partnership with Dark Horse publication for a second series of literature based on The Witcher franchise.
The new book will be called “Fox Children” and will begin in April next year, just a couple of months following the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Announcing it during the New York Comic-Con 2014 yesterday, the companies revealed that the series will be written by Paul Tobin, with art being handled by Joe Querio.
Fox Children will lead Geralt aboard a ship of fools, renegades, and criminals where some passengers are more dangerous than others, but one is hiding a hideous secret.
As of now, the volume 1 of the first series was released just last week and is available for purchase. The 120-page comic is writted by Paul Tobin as well and has Geralt encountering a widowed fisherman who’s dead and murderous wife resides in an eerie mansion known as the House of Glass.
Heading to the house for investigation, the monster slayer realizes that the house is filled with horrors that need to be put down.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled for release on February 24, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will be the last installment in the trilogy and possibly in the Witcher universe.
